Brazil’s President to Visit Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, 9 ene — Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff is scheduled to visit Cuba on January 31 and Haiti on February 1, stated the official Brazilian news agency.

Rousseff’s trip to Havana is designed to seek an increase in bilateral exchange at a time when Cuba implements reforms that signify an opening in its economy for investment.

While the agenda of the South American visitor was not announced, it is a given that she will meet with her counterpart Raul Castro.
