Colombian President to Meet with Raul Castro Wednesday
HAVANA TIMES, March 6 — Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos will travel to Cuba Wednesday morning to meet with presidents Raul Castro and Hugo Chavez, reported AP.
According to statements by the Colombian leader, the objectives of his one-day visit to Havana are to talk with Castro about the possible participation of Cuba in the upcoming Summit of the Americas and with Chavez about pending bilateral trade agreements.
The Sixth Summit of the Americas is scheduled to be held in April in the Colombian city of Cartagena.
