Cuba Begins Daylight Savings Time
HAVANA TIMES – The clocks in Cuba get set back an hour early Sunday as the country goes in its daylight savings time mode until next March.
At one a.m. on Sunday the clocks in Cuba will be put back an hour ending summer time which began on March 10.
The government is also calling on the population to save on energy use during peak hours from 5 to 9 p.m. “We are calling on the population to adopt all the measures to use only the necessary equipment and lighting during those hours to help contribute to the reational use of electric energy.”
Canadians and Cubans merge their times. Cool. We too tuned our clocks back this past weekend. Canadians and Cubans…a marriage made in paradise!
