Cuban Boxers to Face Mexican Team
HAVANA TIMES – A team of top Cuban boxers travels today to Mexico City, where they will face the Guerrero Warriors on Friday as part of the World Series of Boxing, JIT Online reported.
“In the group we are committed to go out to win match, and we want to make a good showing in our debut ,” said coach Rolando Acebal after preparation on Tuesday evening .
Cuba enjoyed seven victories over Mexican in exhibition matches organized at the end of August this year .
Both teams are part of the qualifying group B, that also includes boxing squads from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan , Russia and Poland.

56 Kg: Robeisy Ramirez (Cuba) vs . Aaron Alameda (GUE )
64 Kg: Yasnier Toledo (Cuba) vs . Juan Pablo Romero (GUE )
75 Kg: Ramón Luis (Cuba) vs . Juan Antonio Mercado (GUE )
91 Kg: Erislandy Savon (Cuba) vs . Djibril Coupe (GUE )
