Cuban Economic Reform Czar Visits China
HAVANA TIMES, Feb 22 — Cuban Vice President Marino Murillo arrived in China on Tuesday, where he was received by Vice Premier Hui Liangyu of that country, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
The Cuban economic reform czar will also meet with the permanent member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, Li Changchun, as well as the Minister of Agriculture of the immense Asian country.
Issues relating to bilateral trade, agricultural cooperation and the two nations’ respective processes of building socialism are on the five-day agenda of the Cuban leader in that country.
Murillo highlighted the importance that the Cuban Communist Party and the government attach to the island’s relations with China.
