Cuban Films in Latin America

HAVANA TIMES — Two of the most recent Cuban film productions “Y sin embargo…” (And yet) and “Película de Ana” (Ana’s film) will be competing in festivals in Brazil and Colombia, the local media reported.

“Ana’s film” directed by Daniel Diaz with stellar performance by Laura de la Uz, will be presented at the Ibero-American Brazilian event, in session until February 14 in the northeastern Brazilian state of Ceará.

For its part, the debut of filmmaker Rudy Mora, “And yet …”, is among the official selection for the Bogotá Film Festival, to be held from October 16-24, competing in the film category for Children.
