Earth Tremor in Eastern Cuba
HAVANA TIMES – An earthquake registered at 3.0 magnitude on the Richter scale was felt in the early hours of Sunday at various locations in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, reported DPA news.
The quake was located about seven miles south of Baconao, and six miles deep, according to the National Seismological Service.
The tremor was felt in the towns of Baconao and Boniato, with no damage reported to persons or property, notes the official report.
