EU to Consult Opposition on Cuba Policy

HAVANA TIMES, Mar. 14 – The general director of the European Commission for the Americas, Christian Leffler, will meet next Friday in Madrid with released Cuban opposition members, with the aim of consulting them on the renewal of the European Union (EU) policy toward the island. It is expected that the dissidents will be against any relaxation of the policy until the Raúl Castro government carries out political and legal reforms, reported IPS.
