Greater Effort to Protect State Resources

HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 30 — The Cuban Ministry of Interior claims to have made over 25,000 inspections at State offices and businesses during 2009, reported the Cuban News Agency on Saturday.  The ministry said that 7,059 fines were issued but did not go into any details as to the extent or seriousness of the violations.
