Haiti Pleased with Cuban Aid
HAVANA TIMES, July 4 — Haitian President René Preval expressed his satisfaction with the aid given by Cuba after the earthquake last January 12, in which more than 220,000 persons died, in statements to the state-run press in the island, where he is carrying out a working visit. A Cuban medical continent has been collaborating in the neighboring nation since 1998 and was strengthened after the quake, reported IPS.
