Living Fossil in Cuban Sea
HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 12 — A mollusc species from the Mesozoic era, between 245 and 65 million years ago, lives in waters north of the Cuban province of Pinar del Río, reported IPS. The trigonia can be seen in the seabed close to Cayo Levisa, an area of tourist interest with 23 sites for scuba diving.
