Silvio Rodriguez to Perform to Argentina

HAVANA TIMES — Cuban singer Silvio Rodriguez announced Monday on his blog Segunda Cita that he will be performing in two Argentinean cities in November, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

The author of songs that include “Ojala” and “Unicornio azul” confirmed that he will be appearing on November 23 and 24 at Luna Park in Buenos Aires, and on the 26th at the Estadio Union in the city of Santa Fe.

The news received enthusiastic welcome by regular readers of his blog, who stated that the last time that Rodriguez sang in that South American nation was in November 2011, when he concluded a tour of several cities in the country with a concert in the Estadio Ferro in Buenos Aires.
