Twitter Used Against US-Cuba Hostility
HAVANA TIMES — The Twitter social network is being used in Cuba to “confront US aggression,” where the address “#DerechosdeCuba” was used for that action, reports the Prensa Latina news agency.
This online “virtual micro-blogging event” took place at 10:00 a.m. this morning to denounce the sanctions against Cuba promoted by Washington, says the call.
This “twittworking,” as this type of campaign in cyberspace is called, emerged after the US Office of Foreign Assets Control fined the Dutch ING Bank over $600 million for conducting financial transactions with the island.
