Venezuelan VP Discusses Chavez’s ‘Complex Situation’
HAVANA TIMES — Venezuelan Vice President Nicolas Maduro made announcements in Havana on Tuesday concerning the serious health condition of President Hugo Chavez.
“With faith in God and the doctors, our commander Chavez will continue to improve, and sooner or later he will come out of this complex and delicate post-operative stage,” said Maduro on the TeleSur television network.
“I was able to see him twice and to talk with him. He is fully aware of his complex post-operative process and he explicitly requested that we always keep the people informed of the truth – no matter how harsh it may be in certain circumstances,” the VP said.
Venezuela’s vice president will return home Wednesday to continue working on the National Plan.
