Virtual Forum on Sexuality for Cuban Students
HAVANA TIMES — The First National Virtual Conference of University Students, for those people associated with studies of human sexuality, has been called by the Medical University of Santiago de Cuba and is scheduled for January 28, reported Prensa Latina.
The 2013 SexSalud Conference will focus its discussions on matters of sexuality of young university students as these relate to issues such as domestic violence, couples, family planning, gender equality, sexual dysfunctions, sexual diversity, AIDS, sexual and reproductive rights, and the treatment of sex-related issues by the Cuban media.
The forum is sponsored by the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX), which is directed by Mariela Castro, and will run until February 28. The conference will involve personnel associated with sexuality-related programs of institutions of higher education across the country.
