Finally, a comment we can agree on.
Yep, same as anywhere. Some are simply sincerely looking for a sense of security for themselves and their families…a good provider… there’s nothing wrong with that. It reminds me of the old cliche… what parents used to say (and perhaps still do) to their daughters… would you rather be married to a garbage man, or to a doctor? btw, not all cubanas want to live outside of Cuba either.
Sentimental bond = $$$$
