Irish Artist’s Stunning Cuba Images
HAVANA TIMES, July 13 – Irish photographer Paul Harris is gearing up for his “cubaOne” show to be hanging from July 23 to October 23 at Barista’s Café in Dublin, Ireland.
The young photographer’s first solo show will feature images of Cuban streets, small towns and rural villages.
Captured during December 2007 and January 2008, the photos were taken with a manual camera using 35mm film without a flash, using only the naturally available light, stated the artist.
Havana Times offers our readers a selection of nine of the excellent photos that totally speak for themselves.
Limited edition signed prints on Hahnemühle fine art fiber paper will be for sale (framed and unframed) as will specially-produced books of the exhibition series featuring a foreword by Dervla Murphy, adventure travel writer and author of “The Island That Dared: Journeys in Cuba,” states the cubaOne show website page: http://www.paulharris.ie/exhibitionInfo.html
