Cuban salsa singer Paulo FG debuts as an actor

HAVANA TIMES — The popular Cuban singer Paulo Fernandez Gallo, will debut as an actor in the movie ” Forbidden Flight,” directed by filmmaker Rigoberto Lopez, Prensa Latina reported .

Known as Paulo FG since the salsa fury of the 90s, the artist shars with French actress Sanaa Alaovi .
“This is my first film and I hope the last,” the musician told OnCuba magazine, referring to the film which started shooting in Paris and continues in Cuba .

The singer plays a photojournalist who makes documentaries for cinema and television, and his interaction Monique (Sanaa Alaovi) leads him to ponder several topics of current Cuba.
