HAVANA TIMES — A low pressure area is located in the southern Gulf of Campeche. In the next 48 hours there will be no favorable conditions for cyclone development. This week we are under the influence of a weak anticyclone located in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico.
There will be generally partly cloudy days and scattered showers in the afternoon, product of daytime heating. Winds will be very weak, which together with the high moisture content in the area, will lead to a feeling of suffocating heat.
The maximum temperature will remain stable above 30° C (86 F) and lows around 24° C (75 F).
The sea surface temperatures reach 26° C (79 F).
