Alejandro Falcon Y Cubadentro

HAVANA TIMES, December 21. – Alejandro Falcon y Cubadentro perform on Tuesday, December 22, from 10 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at the La Zorra y el Cuervo jazz club (calle 23 y O, Vedado).

Young pianist and composer Alejandro Falcon founded the Cubadentro project in 2008, along with Keisel Jimenez (drums), Sergio Raveiro (bass), Guillermo del Toro (congas).

Alejandro was awarded in the 2002 edition of the  JoJazz festival/competition and has been a part of such emblematic Cuban music bands as Pualo FG y su Elite and Orlando Valle “Maraca” y Otra Visión. Falcon plays jazz with a fusion of universal classic music and the roots of Cuban music.

He interprets pieces by Miguel Failde, Ignacio Piñeiro, Ernesto Lecuona, classics of the genre and other pieces written by himself with their own refined style.
