Japanese Craft by Cuban Hands

HAVANA TIMES, December 21 – An exhibit of work by artists affiliated with the Cuban Association of Artisans (ACAA) will be on view until December 31, starting at 3 p.m., in the Casa de Asia (Mercaderes No. 111, Habana Vieja).

Though one cannot speak of the existence strong roots of Japanese art here in Cuba, the art of modern Japan has been made available with great force through the Casa de Asia, which promotes a host of activities throughout the year.
