Amnesty International says Cuba needs “political reform”

HAVANA TIMES, March 18 —  “Cuba desperately needs political and legal reform to bring the country in line with basic international human rights standards,” affirmed Kerrie Howard, assistant director for America of Amnesty International, in a communiqué a propos the 7th anniversary of the detention of 75 dissidents in the island, reported IPS.
