We Have Had Enough

Cold Play – Viva la Vida

HAVANA TIMES – I had my poached egg this morning on toast with tomatoes and thought how unfair it is when my friends, family, and associates are suffering in Cuba. Most of my communications to Cuba have been lost after Hurricane Rafael hit on Wednesday. I have attempted to be diplomatic with my writings and considered it’s not necessarily my place to share my opinion sitting at a computer outside the country of Cuba.

However, the bottom line of the “Viva the Revolution”, the embargo rhetoric, and the stupidity have reached a paramount level of incompetence from the government to the poor people suffering on the island.

Government give up, relax your egos, autocratic control, and disdain for the rest of the world. You have lost is the bottom line just like the liberals did recently in the US election when the people said:

 WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

Do you need a set of instructions since sitting in a large government auditorium spewing rhetoric to each other is not going to change anything? No one is going to come to save the island, not the Mexicans, not the Russians, Not the Venezuelans, Not the Chinese…well maybe the US would help out since they have so many of your people. You need to step aside and not look at each other and think, let’s see what fake news we can send out so the sheep are kept in control and we can continue to line our pockets with pesos.

This is the time to rise, have a huddle, and decide it’s time to let go. Provide a timeline of three months the constitution will be altered (yes you can plagiarize from other countries), and there will be free elections with multiple parties, welcoming of entrepreneurs, free enterprise, and support from outside the island. Don’t overthink freedom, don’t have a zillion comrade committee meetings, and for sure, don’t ask the old revolutionary farts for their opinion!

TIME FOR SOME CHANGE!
