Ladies in White to ask for Vatican Mediation

HAVANA TIMES, May 11 – The Ladies in White will ask Holy See Foreign Minister Dominique Mamberti to intercede with the Cuban government to achieve the release of political prisoners, announced Berta Soler, the spokeswoman for the group of wives and relatives of the inmates. Mamberti will arrive in the island’s capital in June to participate in the Catholic Social Week, reported IPS.
