UNESCO Highlights Social Use of Science in Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 11 — The United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) recognized in its World Report on Science 2010 the social reach of scientific research in Cuba, which shows advances in areas such as the production of vaccines and the eradication of foreseeable diseases, reported IPS.
