Prosecution’s Key Witness to Testify in Posada Trial
HAVANA TIMES, March 16 — New York Times reporter Ann Louise Bardach, considered a key witness of the prosecution in the trial against self-confessed terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, will testify today in El Paso, Texas, the Miami-based El Nuevo Herald reported. Bardach interviewed Posada in 1998 about his responsibility in the attacks against Cuban tourist installations in 1997, reported IPS.
Mockery of justice is nothing new in America.
These last 50 years will go down in infamy.
History will not absolve the USA for violating the rights of others.

The Cuban Five are Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González and René González who are in U.S. prison, serving four life sentences and 75 years collectively, after being wrongly convicted in U.S. federal court in Miami, on June 8, 2001. The Five were falsely accused by the U.S. government of committing espionage conspiracy against the United States, and other related charges. But the Five pointed out vigorously in their defense that they were involved in monitoring the actions of Miami-based terrorist groups, in order to prevent terrorist attacks on their country of Cuba.
The Five’s actions were never directed at the U.S. government. They never harmed anyone nor ever possessed nor used any weapons while in the United States. The Cuban Five’s mission was to stop terrorism. For more than 40 years, anti-Cuba terrorist organizations based in Miami have engaged in countless terrorist activities against Cuba, and against anyone who advocates a normalization of relations between the U.S. and Cuba. More than 3,000 Cubans have died as a result of these terrorists’ attacks. Terrorist Miami groups like Comandos F4 and Brothers to the Rescue operate with complete impunity from within the United States to attack Cuba—with the knowledge and support of the FBI and CIA. Therefore, Cuba made the careful and necessary decision to send the Five Cubans to Miami to monitor the terrorists. The Cuban Five infiltrated the terrorist organizations in Miami to inform Cuba of imminent attacks. The aim of such a clandestine operation by the Cuban Five—at great personal risk—was to prevent criminal acts, and thus protect the lives of Cubans and other people.
And, just as the Bush family has been directly tied to the Bin Laden family, so, too, have they been tied to Posada Carriles. Just as the Bin Ladens were the only planes in American airspace to leave the country after 9/11, so too is Luis Posada Carriles being shuffled through the system to fall out the other side completely free and anonymous.

The entire War on Terror is an evil and fraudulent enterprise. U.S. government officials use terrorism to suit their own ends all the time, and yet, they expect us to believe that their cause to “eradicate international terrorism” is genuine? Ultra right-wing fascists have taken over the government of the United States. How can The People be fooled by such hypocritical monsters?
The U.S. is obliged to expel Posada to another country. After 9/11, the U.N. Security Council, at the request of the U.S. government, adopted Resolution 1373 on Sept. 28, 2001 that makes it mandatory for every government in the world to oppose any form of cooperation with all terrorists — no matter what they did or where. No protection. No refuge. Nothing. The Security Council established a permanent committee to implement that resolution, yet USA is harbouring an admitted terrorist !!

uela and risk that he will reveal the secrets of four decades of Bush’s involvement in organising a facist international, or will President Obama protect him and stand exposed before the world as another protector of an international terrorist apparatus. The U.S. government knows how many crimes it has committed, hence all the continued secrecy by the Obama administration. Everything in Washington stinks.
IS THE USA BUYING TIME FOR THE WELL KNOWN TERRORIST WITH A STAGED TRIAL?
On October 6, 1976, Cubana Flight 455 was scheduled to fly from Guyana to Havana, Cuba via Trinidad, Barbados, and Kingston. Two time bombs, were planted on the aircraft at Piarco, Trinidad, by agents working for Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch. The bombs exploded in the aircraft’s rear lavatory, nine minutes after takeoff from Barbados, causing the plane to crash into the water. All 48 passengers and 25 crew aboard the plane died: 57 Cubans, 11 Guyanese, and five North Koreans. Among the dead were all 24 members of the 1975 national Cuban Fencing team that had just won all the gold medals in the Central American and Caribbean Championship; many were teenagers.
Documents released by the USA National Security Archive on May 3, 2007 reveal the links the mastermind, American trained terrorist, Luis Clemente Faustino Posada Carriles, had to the 1976 Cubana airline bombing and other terrorist attacks and plots. These attacks included bombing a British West Indian Airways office in Barbados and the Guyanese Embassy in Trinidad.
Remember Bush’s November 21, 2001 words: “If you harbor terrorists, you are terrorists. If you train or arm a terrorist, you are a terrorist. If you feed a terrorist or fund a terrorist, you’re a terrorist, and you will be held accountable.” What Bush didn’t say was “this doesn’t refer to ‘our terrorists.’”
It is the height of hypocrisy to talk about fighting terrorism while harbouring men who are wanted for or helping to destroy passenger airplanes.
