Cuban Art Exhibition Opens in Germany
HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban collective art exhibit titled “El vuelo del Bronce” (Flight of Bronze) opened on Monday at the Habana Art Gallery in the German city of Bremen, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
The inauguration was attended by Cuban artist Alberto Lescay and works by Eduardo “Choco” Roca.
“El vuelo del Bronce” is a project sponsored by the Fundacion Caguayo (which Lescay heads), and Berlin’s Frierl Workshop Gallery (directed by German artist Mark Frierl), while the exhibit is composed of works by artists from both nations.
Among the large public in attendance at the opening were Cuban, American and German artists, as well as Raul Becerra, the island’s ambassador to the European country.
