Airlines Reducing Flights to Cuba
HAVANA TIMES — The Spanish airline Iberia and Air Europa will both reduce the frequency of their flights to Havana in the coming months, reports preferente.com, an online newspaper for tourism professionals.
Iberia, which now covers the Madrid-Havana run six days a week, will reduce this by one flight starting October 28.
In statements by Iberia spokespeople, they indicated that during peak periods the flights could be bumped back up to six connections a week, but the current reductions are a result of the severe crisis being experienced by travel service consumers in Spain.
Air Europa is reducing flights due to lower demand.
And the capitalist empire crumbles some more. How will ‘Moses’ spin this one? ‘Moses’, where are you? Maybe he’s busy trying to figure out how he can blame it on Cuba’s government.
