Forum to Discuss Cuban Labor Code Bill
HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban Chapter of the Regional Network of Afrodescendants in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARAAC) , and the Critical Observatory Network, will hold a public forum on Friday October 11, to discuss the proposed Labor Code bill.
According to the newsletter Desde la Ceiba, the panel will be entitled “New Labor Law: Popular Life, Discrimination, Social Situation,” and will be held at the Community Center in the La Ceiba neighborhood, in the Havana municipality of Playa .
Participating on the discussion panel will be the outstanding intellectual and anti-racist fighter Tato Quiñones, anthropologist Paul Rodriguez, feminist and blogger Yasmin S. Portales, historian Mario Castillo, Terry Deyni lawyer and blogger and journalist Francisco Rodríguez (Paquito el de Cuba) .
