HAVANA TIMES, February 12 – On February 17 at 3:00 p.m. in the Museo del Tabaco (120 Mercaderes), the exhibit “Pasión y Fidelidad” will be inaugurated. Made up of pieces of diverse artistries donated by artist and collectors (craftwork, silversmithing, painting and glasswork), all works relate to the culture of tobacco. This exhibit will mark the 17th anniversary of the creation of this institution.

His vision of the city, its people and the Revolution reflect a conservative perspective and are closely attached to the official party line. Granma newspaper online features an article Friday on the meaning of “on the left,” which in Cuba is an expression quite different from what it might imply in other countries.
