HAVANA TIMES — The 19th Havana Arts and Crafts Fair (FIART) continues through Sunday December 20th at the Pabexpo fairgrounds in the Cuban capital. The international event is dedicated this year to ceramics and the province of Matanzas.

Some nice items, especially like the men’s shirts and hats. Also noticed more smiles on this site than the politburo photos of the old line marxists. Seems that when you give people the opportunity to be creative and self reliant some pretty cool things can occur. In the US it’s given us inexpensive cell phones, computers, clothes, food and now Tesla battery charged cars. End the embargo and good luck to the new entrepreneurs in Cuba!
