Greek Electroacoustic Music Concert Today in Havana

HAVANA TIMES — A concert with the latest Greek creations in electronic music will take place this afternoon in the vicinity of Havana’s Casa de las Americas cultural center as part of the new series of events sponsored by the Espacio Sonoro program.

This program will include the songs “Two Lonely,” by composer Spyros Polychoronopoulos; “Scelsi-La vita inside,” by Vassilis Roupas; “Instant of a crystal glass,” by Theodore Lotis; “Toys” by Orestis Karamanlis; and “Nyctinasty,” by Nikos Stravropoulos.

The concert is sponsored by the island’s Laboratorio de Musica Electroacustica, LA Asociacion Helenica de Compositores de Musica Electroacustica, La Casa de las Americas and La Federacion Cubana del CIME/UNESCO.
