‘I’m the Other Cuba’ Shown in Prague

HAVANA TIMES — The documentary “I’m the Other Cuba,” by the Italian director Maria Micciarelli Piernantonio, was screened recently at Langhans Gallery, Prague, for the opening of the exhibition “Waiting for the Miracle: Cuban Life a Half Century After the Revolution.”

According to Diario de Cuba, the 84-minute documentary has been rejected by virtually all of the most important film festivals in Europe.

Organized by the “People in Need” NGO, the collection also contains a collection of photographs by Czech photographer Ji?í Havrda, as well as visual poems by the Cuban writer, poet and photographer Francis Sanchez, who lives on the island.
