“Two Veterans” New Episode of Eduardo del Llano’s Nicanor Series (video)

HAVANA TIMES – Starting Sunday, December 1st, Cuban director Eduardo del Llano premieres  DOS VETERANOS (Two Veterans) online. It’s the last episode of the Nicanor series with Luis Alberto García. The film will gets its big screen premiere on the island during the Havana Film Festival from Dec. 5-15.

The world premiere of the film took place in Madrid at the presentation of Eduardo del Llano’s new book “The Enemy, Two Veterans”.

Synopsis of Two Veterans: “Socialism has disappeared in Cuba twenty years ago. A group of elders meet where there used to be a park and is now the loading area of ??a shopping center.  They express their nostalgia and revile the present. Only Nicanor longs for the recent past, while the others have very diverse opinions…”

Nicanor (Luis Alberto García), the character that appears throughout the 15 episodes of the series debates what would be the best political system with Rodríguez (Nestor Jimenez), Yaquelín (Ana Chelys Matos), the Chino (Osvaldo Doimeadios) , Montero (Mario Guerra) and Bolaños (Carlos Gonzalvo).
