HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 10 – Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa suggested in Havana that Cuba could become a supplier of medicines for Latin America. Correa, on an official visit to the island, sees the idea as part of a regional integration mechanism in which each country would assume certain productions. The president affirmed that there should not be competition “between sisterly countries.”
