Cuba-Bolivia Cooperation on Drugs
HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 16 — Cuba and Bolivia have agreed to step up cooperation in areas such as the fight against illicit drugs and related crime. They also reached agreement on mutual legal assistance on penal matters.
The accords were signed in Havana by Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca and Cuban FM Bruno Rodriguez.
The visiting Bolivian official also met privately on Friday with Cuban President Raul Castro. No details of their conversation were revealed.
A total of 415 Bolivian young people have graduated on scholarships from the Havana based Latin American School of Medicine.
