Cuba Considers Migration Talks Fruitful

HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 13 – Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Dagoberto Rodríguez described as fruitful the fourth round of migration talks between the island and the United States “with the aim of advancing toward the establishment of more effective cooperation mechanisms in the fight against the illegal trafficking of emigrants,” according to the official declaration of the Cuban delegation, reported IPS.

The Cuban FM did not mention the case of US agent Alan Gross being held in Havana for allegedly distributing illegal electronic equipment on the island.
