Cuba to Test Pneumococcus Vaccine
HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 20 – Cuba will begin in 2010 the clinical essays of a vaccine against pneumococcus, a pathogenic agent that causes pneumonia, sinusitis, peritonitis and meningitis, especially in immunodepressed persons, older persons and children, announced Concepción Campa, director of the Finlay Institute in Havana, reported IPS.
