Cuba’s Baseball Season Opens Nov. 1st

HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 19 – The 2009-2010 Cuban Baseball Season gets underway with the inauguration on Sunday November 1st at the home field of last year’s champions, Havana Province, announced the local press on Monday.

Once again 16 teams are expected to play in two divisions and the season is expected to end with the championship series around the end of March.

The exact dates will be announced at a Baseball Federation meeting on October 28.
