Do You Love Cats? Feline Show in Havana on July 7th
By Nike
HAVANA TIMES – The Cuban Association of Cat Lovers organizes two exhibitions of these feline creatures every year, in Havana. One in spring, and the other in winter. The first of these exhibitions will take place on Sunday July 7th from 9 AM – 1 PM, at Quinta de los Molinos, located on Avenida Carlos III between Calzada de Infanta and Avenida de Boyeros in the Central Havana neighborhood.
Bearing in mind the high temperatures of the summer months, the exhibition will take place in an air-conditioned hall, for the comfort of visitors as well as the 30 cats that will be on show as part of the exhibition.
A cat-inspired painting exhibition will also be inaugurated at the same time. Craftspeople will also be present who always accompany the fair with extremely interesting pieces.
The competitive exhibition will award two prizes. The first is decided by a jury who chooses the best breed, the second is decided by the public, and is given to the most popular cat.
Visitors can take a small cat they want to give up for adoption, as everyone who goes there is a cat lover.
Two magazines about cats will also be launched, with some interesting facts that will undoubtedly contribute a great deal towards understanding these wonderful pets.
Make a note in your diary: Sunday July 7th from 9 AM – 1 PM, at Quinta de los Molinos. If you like cats, I’ll see you there!
