End of the Year Recess for Teachers

HAVANA TIMES, Dec 16 — Cuba’s teachers and  students will be on break throughout the island from December 25 to January 2, Granma newspaper announced today.

The recess includes each of the dependencies of the Ministry of Education and other agencies of the central government administration.

During this period, schools and educational institutions throughout the country are expected to adjust their work forces to assist those students who need to additional attention.

The next break is scheduled from April 16 to 21, 2012.
