Habanastation Opens Festival in Malaysia

HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban film Habanastation, by director Ian Padron, opened today in the Malaysia city of Kuala Lumpur for the annual Latin American Film Festival, which will run there for a week, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

Several Latin American countries are presenting works free to the public so as to give people an opportunity to enjoy art that will connect them with culture and life on the other side of the planet.

Also scheduled for showing are Dos Hermanos, from Argentina; the Brazilian film  Cidade dos Homens, Chile’s La Vida de los Peces, the Colombian film Gordo, Calvo y Bajito, the Ecuadorian movie Los Canallas, the Mexican work Ella y el Candidato, Uruguay’s La Vida Util and Samuel from Venezuela.
