HAVANA TIMES – The influence of the anticyclone ridge over the northwestern part of the island brings winds from the east to the northeast. Meanwhile in the middle and upper troposphere an inverted trough slightly increases the probability of rain on the entire region of the western Caribbean Sea.

The occurrence of scattered showers is expected especially in the first half of the week covered by this forecast. The winds will be from 10 to 15 km/h, somewhat stronger in areas near the coast.

High temperatures will be between 32 and 34° C (90 and 93 F), and the lows between 23 and 24° C (73 and 75 F).

The sea surface temperature will reach 30° C (86 F).

In the area of the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic no tropical cyclone formation is expected in the next five days.
