HAVANA TIMES – Normally on summer days we have rains in the afternoon associated with the diurnal heating, however, during the next few days we will be having rain from earlier in the day, including some occasional thunderstorms.

The days will be cloudy starting in the morning with winds from the southeast and east with speeds between 10 and 20 km/h. The relative humidity will be ranging between 60 and 90%.

The days will be hot, with high temperatures at 32 and 33° C (90 and 91 F), with the lows at 23 and 24° C (73 and 75 F). The sea surface temperature will be 29° C (84 F).

Meteorological conditions:

In spite of the influence of the Azores-Bermuda oceanic anticyclone, the favorable conditions for the formation of rains will be maintained, due to the passage of tropical waves through the Caribbean and a constant humid and warm flow from the southeast that persists over the island.

No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the next 5 days over the North Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
