HAVANA TIMES — A stationary front is located in the eastern portion of the Gulf of Mexico, close to the west of Cuba. Its proximity coupled with humid conditions in the lower middle troposphere can generate cloudiness and some isolated precipitation in Havana.

Winds are currently blowing from the southeast with speeds between 20 and 30 km/h. With the advancement of the front they will shift predominantly from the Northwest. Winds will become weaker during the second half of the week forecast period.

High temperatures will range between 30 and 32° C (86 and 90 F), while the lows will be between 23 and 25° C (73 and 77 F).

The sea surface temperature will be stable at 28° C (82 F).

For the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next five days.
