New Book on Hemingway in Cuba
HAVANA TIMES, Feb 24 — Cuban writer Enrique Cirules confirmed on Thursday from the city of Cienfuegos that he is working on a new book, Hemingway, ese desconocido (Hemingway, The unknown man), his third work dedicated to the American author, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
During a presentation at the Cuban Book Fair in the province, Cirules, 72, said the volume will consist of 17 chapters on the life of the Nobel Prize laureate for literature who lived in Havana for nearly 20 years.
The Cuban author’s previous essays include “Hemingway en la cayeria de Cayo Romano,” which won a mention at the Casa de las Americas awards in 1999; and “Hemingway en Cuba.”
