HAVANA TIMES, March 23 – Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi travels soon to Havana to present his latest film “The Separation”, which is this year’s winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Film, as well as a prizewinner in the Golden Globe and Golden Bear awards.

The director will attend “Iranian Film Week” from April 9 to 16 in Havana, which will include eight of the most recent productions from that country, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

Farhardi — who is also a winner of a Cesar Award in France, a Critics Choice Award and an Independent Spirit Award — will exchange experiences with students at the International School of Film and Television in San Antonio de los Baños, located outside of the capital.
