Peace Caravan Reaches Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, July 23 — The 21st Pastors for Peace Friendshipment Caravan with humanitarian aid arrived in Havana on Friday.

Traveling from Mexico after crisscrossing the US and Canada, the 85 accompanying members are from the United States, Canada, Ireland, Germany, England and Mexico.

Caravan leader Rev. Lucius Walker told the press upon arrival: “There are many reasons for dedicating this caravan to the children of Cuba.”

The group is very outspoken against the US economic blockade on Cuba and intentionally breaks the travel ban to Cuba that Washington has imposed on its citizens for nearly a half century.
