Picasso, Miró & Warhol Works to Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 26 – U.S. art gallery owner Gilbert Brownstone donated to Cuba works by important artists from the 20th century visual arts vanguard, such as Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró and Andy Warhol, reported IPS.

Brownstone, an open admirer of the Cuban Revolution, was conferred by Cuba with the Friendship Medal.

The philanthropist has worked for cultural and educational exchange between the US and Cuba for over a decade, noted Granma newspaper.
