Rations for Havana (March 10-16)

HAVANA TIMES — We present the list of rationed protein products that can be purchased by Havana residents at their neighborhood “bodega” stores during the week of March 10-16.

The portions are distributed by month rotating in the 15 municipalities of the capital.  The residents also receive an allotment of rice, sugar, a small amount of beans or peas, salt, matches and soap.

CHICKEN (1 lb for consumers aged 14 or over and those on medical diets): Complete distribution in  Guanabacoa and Arroyo Naranjo, and distribute in Centro Habana, Habana Vieja and La Lisa.

FLAVORED HASH (½ pound per consumer): Complete distribution in Centro Habana and distribute in La Lisa, Playa and Plaza.

MORTADELLA (½ pound per consumer): Complete distribution in San Miguel and Diez de Octubre, distribute in Cerro and Habana del Este.

GROUND BEEF (1 lb for children under 14) : Complete distribution in Boyeros, distribute in Cotorro, San Miguel and Arroyo Naranjo.

EGGS (5 per consumer and medical diets as applicable): Complete distribution in Marianao, distribute in Arroyo Naranjo, La Lisa, Cerro, Cotorro and Plaza.

CHICKEN for FISH (11 ounces per consumer and 6 pounds of frozen fish with head and tail for medical diets and special diets for children from 0 to 18): Complete distribution in Diez de Octubre  and Cotorro, and distribute in San Miguel, Marianao, Arroyo Naranjo and Guanabacoa.
